About

Memory should be quiet.

We are building the substrate that lets autonomous agents remember, reason, and respect privacy — without the noise.

Founding thesis

Why we built this

Every agent framework on the market today is shipping a memory layer that is, in practice, a flat vector store with a wrapper around it. They search. They sometimes rerank. They almost never reason about what is actually true.

We started PiyAPI with a different premise: a memory layer for AI should be a cognitive substrate. It should detect contradictions. It should age. It should know what it doesn’t know. It should refuse to leak protected health information even when a developer accidentally asks it to.

That substrate is now 35 cognitive engines, an 11-service knowledge graph with bitemporal facts, a 31-type PHI Firewall, a 30-tool MCP server, four SDKs, and an A2A agent card. All under one roof.

Principles

What we believe

01.

Sovereignty by default

You own your graph. You own your vectors. BYOK, data residency, and on-premise are not enterprise upsells — they are the architecture.

02.

Privacy is the baseline

PHI detection isn’t a premium feature. AES-GCM field-level encryption is the default. The break-glass workflow is logged, immutable, and surface-level for the security team.

03.

Receipts, not vibes

Every answer cites the memories that produced it. Every fact in the knowledge graph has a valid-at and an invalid-at. We will not hallucinate, and we will not silently forget.

Where we are

Bhopal, MP, India

PiyAPI is built and operated by PIYAPI Cloud Inc. We chose Bhopal not as a cost-of-labour arbitrage but because the next decade of AI infrastructure should not be built only in Silicon Valley. Sovereign infrastructure starts with sovereign teams.
